
My Approach
Background
I became a Registered Psychologist in 1988. I went on to complete a masters degree in clinical psychology in 1993 and became a member of the APS Clinical College. I have now been practicing for over 30 years. During that time I have worked in a variety of settings and organisations in both the public and private sectors (e.g. Noarlunga Hospital, Department of Defence, Kahlyn Private Hospital, Southern Community Health and as a private consultant). I have been in private practice for over 20 years.

Fellow of the College of Clinical Psychologists
Medicare Endorsed Clinical Psychologist
AHPRA Registered Psychologist with Clinical Psychology Endorsement.
Current Practice
I use a predominantly cognitive behavioural approach to treatment but am able to employ a variety of therapeutic techniques from different approaches tailored to suit the needs of the client.
I have a breadth of experience in treating adults with a wide range of difficulties and have also been engaged as a consultant to provide group treatment programs and psycho-education sessions.
I am committed to ongoing professional development through attendance at seminars and workshops and reading professional publications.
